People are stuck in 2 room apartments, barely surviving and saving money after giving away half of their salary to the state. What were you expecting?

And that’s ok. It’s ok to be a smaller country. We already do not have enough appartements and too much bureaucracy to build new ones. Let’s shrink, shrink fast.

It looks like we’re at the stage where the quality rather than quantity reproductive trend is overlapping with the previous reverse trend. Its going to be a harder generation, bit worth it to stabilise the population at a lower level. Once stabilised we can get to the stage where each family can have 2 kids easily and support the grandparents with thier societal resource burden.

I said it before and am prepared to face the backlash.
Sadly offering people incentives to do something is less effective than penalising somebody.
Children cost money and time, we should at least equalise the money aspect by taxing people with no children and put lower taxes on those with one children (if you don’t want to give birth to a child adoption should be an accepted alternative).
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t offer incentives to parents by building more Kitas etc., it means that we will need to protect women even stronger from being exploited by idiots but we will have to do it.
It shouldn’t have been our responsibility as the young generation the infrastructure should already be in place by the previous genration but we can’t continue to kick this can down the road for the next generation in an even worse situation to deal with it. It will demand sacrifices but we are the last generation to do this before it really ends in a desaster.
