Well they aren’t going to have one. They said they’d end hallway medicine and now it’s worse than ever and that isn’t going to improve. Ontarians voted for incompetence and budget cuts over and over again.

So many developed economies with hyper aging populations are going to face unexpected and horrendous problems. The only solution is to raise immigration and vastly allow more nurses and care workers into the country. Even then, the costs will be exorbitant. In the States… People are spending $3000-$5000 per month for a care facility.

Dofos strategy is to believe the don’t exist, and when it becomes extremely worse he blames someone else and then privatizes for solution.

You call a generation „boomers“ then act shocked when said boomers get old and overwhelm the already overwhelmed system.

    5. There’s plenty of blame to go around here. The demographics were obvious decades ago. Every government from about Bob Rae on forward should have been planning for this.

A strategy? A strategy??? From this crowd? Like a plan with long term outcomes and complex components and probably a bit of negotiation with different stakeholders? Is there a developer or three that has this strategy and will hand it to them ready made? If not, there’s no chance.
