  1. Out of curiosity, why did they deem him a valuable target? As far as I know he has been out of the picture for quite some time. He even was disallowed to run for president in 2024.

  2. „He frequently threatened Israel’s destruction and made openly antisemitic remarks, gaining notoriety as a brazen Holocaust denier. “

Well, he is probably disappointed that he is the one who gets destroyed instead of Israel. But the real question is whether discovering there is no virgin in heaven is a bigger disappointment or not.

This creates a complete power vacuum to ensure that even political opposition to the Iranian Regime cannot have a claim to power assuming Israel and US forces try to install Reza

Wasn’t he the one who liked to tweet about American basketball games?

  5. I remember when it started, saw you on the news

You were hatin‘ gays, I was eatin‘ food

I was feelin‘ you and even though I disagree

With almost everything you said, you ain’t wrong to me

So strong to me, you belong to me

Like a very hairy Jake Gyllenhaal to me

Mahmoud make my heart beat right out of my chest

My mind says no but my body says yes

Nuclear threat, the only threat I see

Is the threat of you not coming home with me

I can’t say that I support this bombing campaign but if this guy is dead then good riddance.

Remember two things can be true. Iran can be bad and the attack can be unjustified

Head of national defense, four top intelligence officials, commander of the Guards, the Supreme Leader, and now this.

Wikipedia editors working overtime editing „is“ to „was“ and adding „former“ to an ever-expanding list of figures.

The regime is cooked. Let’s see how long they can survive with the continuous dismantling of their human resources and infrastructure meant for their survival.

    Totally forgot about this guy

He was probably going to get through this low key lol

His tweet wishing that the University of Michigan will return to being a football powerhouse again lives rent free in my head

Anyone who pops his head up to claim authority for the week is going to vaporize pretty quickly.

Probably one of the worst atrocities he committed was saying „With a hard work ethic Inshallah the U of M will return to its glory days.“

    He was a holocaust denier & anti-Semite. I don’t think Israel forgot.

  15. They’d cap of anybody with ties to the regime so that someone from the Mossad or CIA can take over

  16. I hope that the spies in the regime pointed every hardliner out and the US killed them.

Hopefully only moderates leftover that can take power.

  17. We really need Baghdad Bob giving us a play by play!

This guy was batshit but entertaining in interviews because you knew he 100% believed the nonsense he was spewing.

    >*All popular war is violent… We use selective annihilation of mayors and government officials, for example, to destroy the presence of the state and create a vacuum. Then we fill that vacuum.*

I think it’s kind of crazy that we live in a world where assassination by any method other than warhead and tons of collateral damage is unacceptable.

This might have been a misstep. He was very popular among reformers and pro-democracy groups as well as the working class. No doubt killed to prevent him from becoming more influentual in a new regime given his anti-israel and anti-american stances, but risks potentially building support for the regime against foreign interlopers.

So they are getting rid of all political opponents in Iran no matter who might actually be for the people even those who are slightly left and pro democracy of sorts…

Complete and total power vacuum so that mean Iran is going to shit asap.

The Iranian youth culture got co-opted when the shah was removed. Iran will have some other dickhead oppressing them pretty quick. I don’t see any LA Persians flocking for the job.

  26. Trump admin is gonna be very confused when the newly liberated Iranians currently screaming „death to America“ in the streets–because we’re bombing them and assassinating government officials–finally hold a proper election, and elect a vengeful hardliner.

  27. Anyone with real knowledge do we have cia intelligence on the ground with years long connection or are we relying on mossad intelligence in the arena

I’m curious that, technically, if the US wants to execute any politician of any country, they are actually capable of doing that. Right? A horrifying reality to think about.
