Maybe people should stop downloading an AI and start thinking for themselves. Things didn’t get better since chatgpt got launched.

It‘s a MUCH better AI than ChatGPT. Like so so much better.
I’m not a fan of what AI is doing to the economy, to internet content, etc…but you can’t really argue with the fact that some of the technology is well made. I got more work done on my little side-hustle python project in the last 3 days using claude than I did in weeks with ChatGPT.

Claude is an amazing programmer, I am completely blown away at the complexity of the applications I’ve been able to build correctly.

This is so silly. Anthropic‘s been working with the military heavily since 2024 and there’s reports that they literally just used Claude in the new Iran attack.

I just canceled my CGPT plan and subbed to Claude max 20x.
As someone who manages IT for a mid-size company, this is actually a big deal. We were evaluating both Claude and ChatGPT for internal use and the Pentagon thing was basically the tipping point for us. Not because we’re government adjacent or anything, just because a company willing to walk away from a massive contract on ethical grounds is probably also going to handle our data more carefully than one racing to close every deal possible. The app store ranking makes sense to me.

After losing its first-mover advantage, OpenAI couldn’t demonstrate any direction beyond championing the AGI fantasy.
Even without government contracts, I believe it was only a matter of time before it relinquished its top position.
