That’s exactly the problem with so many separatists in Quebec. They want to be „free“ of Canada so that Quebec can develop as Quebecers want…even though we already do, as demonstrated by our different legal system, our different education system, our different health system, our different primary language, etc.

And they also want to benefit from the advantages.of being part of the federation (currency, passport, military, trade deals) but without having the responsibilities that goes with it (federal taxes, federal government, federal framework of governance, etc.)
