Is anyone surprised? He made his MO quite clear for quite a while now.
If anyone thought this was going to go any other way, they were kidding themselves.

Trump doesn’t try to convince people of stuff. He says things, and then his supporters argue with the other side and their positions get hardened into steel.

Nuclear weapons. Iran wants them. US doesn’t want them to want them.

Bush era presidential powers expansion should’ve been rolled back a long time ago.

The case was made 3 months ago when the regime mowed down 30k protestors. Trump was just late.

Why is anyone surprised by his actions! It’s been telegraphed loud and clear the he believes his role is not to be vetoed by Congress but to be that of a Caesar. What he says is enough and should happen without question. Why is anyone now thinking it a surprise that he’s acting like a dictator🤦

Why bother? Those that want to stick their head in the sand regarding Iran aren’t about to pull their heads out.

The question is less whether a case exists, more so whether the US is engaging on that case. The truth is there is minimal threat currently with regards to Iran and nuclear. So what this looks like is basically the US/Israel seeing a weakened Iran and their own weakened states as a country, weakened leadership, and believe they can leverage the protests as a means to turn the citizenry against Iran. They’re leveraging the protests to convince Iranians to overthrow but what is likely to instead occur is national pride will kick in.
Trump at his heart is a bully and Netanyahu is too, they both have scandals over their heads, and they both are of the idea that war is something that leads to coalescence but that isn’t reality. Especially with Trump. This is far more likely to hurt his polls than help them.

Sure let’s just forget that Iian has been funding training and equipping, proxies and waging asymmetric war against the west for the last fifty years…LONG time coming.

Wasn’t he claiming that if kamala wins , she will lead the USA to wars and trump is anti-war ? I wonder what his supporters think about it now ?

It was quite obvious that If Iran did not stop funding proxies that this would happen.

I think the case was and is clear:
-to get Iran rid of nuclear program
-reduce ballistic program
-make Iran abandon its proxy terrorist network
-possible regime change
these are reasonable demands from US and Izrael perspective, but unacceptable for current iranian regime, so we got this conflict now
now we will get several scenarios:
1. Iran fights back and wont collapse, not much change apart of Iran being more weaker
2. a) Iran fights back and collapse, there could be infighting, even civil war
b) Iran fights back and collapse, not much infighting, but clerical regime is done, new government
3. a) Iran regime makes a deal with trump, stopping its nuclear program etc. and clerics remain in power
b) Iran regime makes a deal with trump, stopping its nuclear program etc. and aftterwards it collapse, Iran in chaos
c) Iran regime makes a deal with trump, stopping its nuclear program etc. and aftterwards it collapse and new regime gets into power elections/military
