I feel like the Biden impeachment inquiry didn’t get a lot of coverage, but people should remember it for perhaps the most hypocritical act we have.

The GOP investigated Biden primarily because, I guess, *his son, who serves no government position* may have „profited off the Biden name.“

In that „investigation“ they found things such as:

– Biden loaned his son some money for a truck.
– According to the GOP’s star witness, Devin Archer, Biden called a few times over 10 years during meetings to „issue pleasantries“ or „talk about the weather“ with his son.
– The most serious allegation of a „Chinese multi-million bribery scheme“ turned out to be fabricated by a Russian the DOJ would prosecute.

..And then they just.. let it fizzle out without a vote and hoped no one would remember the circus of embarrassment it was. I’m sure most don’t, to be fair.

Meanwhile, Trump’s kids are traveling the globe striking billion dollar deals in direct ties to their father’s position in government. He’s hired billionaires with every conflict of interest imaginable to his cabinet. He’s made *billions* off self-enriching bribery-crypto-schemes. Practices quid pro quo openly. Has taken full control of the independent law enforcement agencies to bully opposition. Proposed taxpayers reimburse him personally for billions of dollars… multiple times. Halts Congressionally-approved federal funds to the demands of his personal whims. Spends countless costs and effort having his name plastered over everything. Accepted a Qatari jet, ffs.

And nothing but crickets from the GOP for over a year now. Super odd, ain’t it?

Honestly, Americans are so inane. I’m surprised it’s actually as high as 62%.
