    >VIENNA, Feb 27 (Reuters) – Some of Iran’s most highly enriched uranium, close to weapons grade, was stored in an underground area of its nuclear site in Isfahan, the U.N. nuclear watchdog said in a confidential report sent to member states on Friday and seen by Reuters.

    >It is the first time the International Atomic Energy Agency has reported where uranium enriched to up to 60% purity, close to the 90% of weapons grade, has been stored. The tunnel complex’s entrance was hit in U.S. and Israeli military strikes in June but the facility seems largely unharmed, diplomats say.

  2. I feel it was wise in the face of the impending bombing. Can’t leave it in the shed at Dave’s.

60% enriched uranium is far higher than any amount needed for “peaceful enrichment.”

There were on the ground inspections with the previous agreement. What this not known at that time?

I read the headline as „IKEA says.“

That would have been a more entertaining story!

  7. So like 10 mins before bill clinton starts testifying about epstein the super secret iaea memo gets leaked about iran having ALMOST weapons grade uranium? Hasn’t Iran been like a week away for nukes for several years now?

There’s a great video of every time someone from the USA or Israel has claimed that Iran was months from building Nukes. The first clips are from 1998 or something like that.

  9. Yeah if they want to stay sovereign they should probably aquire nukes yesterday

  10. Oh so they have WMDs? And the US has to forcefully attack and operate the country for the next 20 years?

Where did I hear that before.

  11. Obviously Iran cannot be allowed to have enriched uranium. Only nations led by stable geniuses have that right!

It’s almost like Trump’s JO session bombing didn’t actually do anything close to what he claimed

The Islamic Republic cannot be trusted to abide by any deals it signs. It already violated the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and it continues to do so and continues to lie to the IAEA.
