      Russia needs to be stopped. Imagine the human costs if Ukraine didn’t evacuate the people and instead used human shields.

      So was this actual incendiary weapons? Or was it the old Israeli tactic of intentionally firing WP smoke rounds at humans and claiming it’s was an accident…

      EDIT: Having watched the video it looks more like the latter.

      If there is no global outcry/consequence for this then Russia will start with the banned bio weapons too. This needs to be strongly condemned by all.

      Incendiary weapons like this have been used throughout the war. 2-3 years ago there were many videos of them being used circulating

      Russia has been using these since the start of the war. There were some horror stories going as far back as the fight for Kiev. Nearby forest, late at night, white phosphorus raining down from above, cutting through the trees. 

      Curious why it’s making headlines now. 

      Between these and thermobarics, it’s a special kind of hell.

      Is it WP or just burning magnesium rods, because russia uses those too and they can be confused with WP

      This is the 9M22S of the BM-21 Grad system. During the first two years of the war, almost every instance of its use was presented in Western media as the use of phosphorus. Then this trend faded, and now it seems to be starting again. It is a standard incendiary munition based on magnesium.

      If it is an area with confirmed civilian populations then that is a war crime according to international law.
