If there’s one international organization I would trust, it’s the OECD. The article is softer than the headline though. The OECD is offering recommendations, not really „criticizing“ because that’s not even its place to do so. They simply relates the facts and offer recommendations. Let’s say if those will be well-received and acted upon or not.

I‘d like to see the appointment of the PBO removed from under the Privy Council. A delay like this should be impossible, and nobody should have direct authority over the watchdog that is watching them.
