    1. Interesting to point out the foreign-born population percentage…

      Actually interesting to see that the foreign-born population percentage rose yet the homicide rate fell, as that could dispel any reason why someone may provide that rate to begin with. I’m speculating, of course.

      What was your purpose in including foreign population? Do you imply US immigrants murder more people than Spanish people? Yeah, very probably.

      EDIT: It seems some people is misunderstanding this. Usually posts like this are made by racists (not saying this is the case) so I wanted to piss them by pointing to US ( a country most of Spanish racists love) is a country with way higher murder rate than Spain.

      An interesting fact is that period shown (with its fluctuations) it’s the period with the lowest rate in Spanish democracy. The peak (0.86) is lower than the lowest rate in the years 1978-2009 (0.89-1.41).

      This is effectively showing the safest period in Spanish history.
