      Vice President JD Vance and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz announced on Wednesday the Trump administration will halt certain Medicaid funds to Minnesota as a part of the effort to crack down on fraud in the state.

      “We have decided to temporarily halt certain amounts of Medicaid funding that are going to the state of Minnesota in order to ensure that the state of Minnesota takes its obligation seriously to be good stewards of the American people’s tax money,” Vance said alongside Oz.

      As a part of the move, $259.5 million in Medicaid funds for Minnesota will not be reimbursed as the administration investigates alleged fraud in the state. Fourteen programs, including autism care and non-medical transports are among the programs viewed as having a high risk of fraud.

      Anyone who doesn’t understand what’s going on here is not paying attention. Trump screamed it last night during the SOTU, he’s screamed it for the last few months and so has Vance. „Fraud“ means ‚Somalis. This has nothing to do with any sort of real life ‚fraud‘ since most of Trumps pardons have been for people that committed fraud, they don’t care about that it’s just a thin veneer for the racism. This is about non-white immigration! These white supremacist in the Trump admin are pissed off Minnesota welcomed non-white immigrants to settle there and that the people of Minnesota stood up to protect those non-white immigrants.

      This is just punishment for not being racist like Trump, Vance, Miller and Russell Vought, that’s it.

      So now who knows how many people who depend on medicaid to literally survive and live are going to die because of fraud.

      They don’t HAVE to do this, their choosing money over peoples lives. Cutting everyone off instead of rooting out the fraud is only going to hurt the people of Minnesota. To blame Gov. Walz is madness for them CHOOSING to do this.

      He doesn’t control federal funding, THEY DO.

      On a per capita basis, there is more Medicaid fraud in Florida, Kentucky, Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas. Minnesota isn’t even in the top 20. This is about some racist POSs hating half of America and ginning up brown people outrage.

      More performative cruelty. It’ll be blocked immediately and after a couple months of filing bs motions they’ll just cave and give the money. It’s basically always the result with these funding halts they do. It’s 100% for show. The news will barely report on it, if at all, when the funds get released but 25-30% of the electorate will get a small dopamine rush because they believe some liberals will suffer. This is them campaigning for the midterms lol
