Isn’t even smoking within the radius of a school illegal or something?

these are the bs ‘cannabis’ stores popping up everywhere, they don’t sell actual cannabis so ARUC aren’t involved, it has as much relation to actual cannabis as gasoline does with alcohol, but obviously the pearl clutchers are out in force.
i’m a cannabis user who’s in favour of these places being wiped off the island as they only cause harm, but as usual people here will find any excuse to demonize something they don’t understand.

Okay now that’s messed up, I’m okay with people buying it that actually need it.

But opening a store in front of a school is litterly going to brain wash people (students) and keep them constantly thinking about it.

It’s similar to how when children see McDonalds they want to go there, this is very similar, it’s going to keep reminding them about it.

Those who know about the harm (because yes, cbd is fine, but hhc, thcp, thcv, shrooms, caffeine powder, kratom, etc… is actually still found around the island despite the ban) and that will cause harm to young adolescents.

Take for reference the legal ones, they are super discrete and won’t keep students constantly looking at it.

I know not everybody is the same and there will be those who ignore it, however, those who do it recreationally will just keep thinking more about it, as well as those who are curious will want to try it, maybe they won’t purchase it from this store and will instead get their friends to purchase it for them or source it through the different ways that there are available.

Either way, this is just dumb, why would they even open this there? At least a pastizzi shop or smth else that’s at least less harmful than a smoke shop…

So ? Drugs have been around for ages, even in schools. Having a regulated cannabis store isnt something to be shocked about.

Well if we’re pontificating about this – we should also prevent alcohol and cigarettes being sold and advertised near schools – and close the bars that are in the vicinity of a school as well, with that logic.
