    1. >In contrast, Poilievre’s favourability is net negative everywhere except amongst Conservatives, those making between $75,000 and $100,000 a year, those who live in the Prairie provinces, and amongst the lowest two age brackets.

Definitely looks like Gen Z in Canada isn’t bucking the general trend of Gen Z being more Conservative.

And the [linked Liaison poll from Feb 23](https://storage.ghost.io/c/5a/2c/5a2c6702-fc8c-4232-bdc0-33fad8d71a80/content/files/2026/02/2026.02.23—Federal-Tracker.pdf?ref=press.liaisonstrategies.ca) shows the same, with Poilievre only at -1 approval in the 18-34 (compared to -17 for all ages). And in terms of vote intention, the LPC only has a 1 point lead with the CPC for 18-34

But I thought it was only Boomers propping Carney up and P.P is winning every other demographics?

Something tells me this line will just be repeated ad nauseum no matter what the polls reflect.

People tend to repeat behaviour that made them successful long after it still makes them successful. I think this is part of Poilievre’s problems. He’s not going to do anything different. He may try, but he will keep falling back into the old habits that made him successful.
