They’re both right. Jeffries is right in that Trump visited their house. We still have 3 co-equal branches of govt.
And Colbert is right, Jeffries has done jack squat.

Colbert is a pathetic Bernie bro. Jeffries has of course, from a place of no power gotten republicans (who are in the majority) to pull their own bills off the floor, he got Lauren Underwood’s bill passed, and he’s coordinated the filing of over 250 lawsuits against the admin, most of which have been successful. That’s just in the past year.
But he didn’t pull a jackass stunt at the stupid SOTU circus so he gets mocked by the “ouch ny balks” crowd.
