Why should countries allow drug addicts to come to their country and cause issues? Go home, get clean and then you can return. Sounds reasonable.

No one wants homeless druggies. You can make it nice. You can make it harsh. But in this, and many other cases, the goal is to get them to leave and not coming back.

This seems to be a bigger issue in countries without robust infrastructure for their citizens already in place. They say oh these immigrants need help and human rights, but they haven’t really done enough for thier citizens and it leads to strife. Which „they“ are fine with because that causes fights on the ground while that top 1% still suck the resources from everyone.
