      Mandelson denies this emphatically but I think it is fair and proper that the House speaker reported this. Don’t take any chances with this situation as it is embarrassing enough that lots of people knew Mandelson was associated with Epstein for years and he was able to keep being shielded into getting luxurious government jobs.

      It seems somewhat deluded and showing as to his arrogance that Mandelson thought he could just rock up at an airport and hop on a flight?

      What would be the point of fleeing to BVI though? there’s automatic extradition, it’s a British overseas territory.

      I know it’s a favoured place for British white collar crooks to go but if the government of the UK want you back they can absolutely do so. In the case of Mandelson he is proving to be very useful as far as government PR and „getting things done“ so he would be plucked from there without question.

      Hoyle had a duty to pass the information to the police. It’s up to the police to deem it credible enough to act upon it

      He wasn’t arrested because he’s a flight risk, he was arrested because he’s a treasonous nonce.

      That should shut his shitbag lawyers right up. They knew exactly what he was planning to do and still started mudslinging at the Met when he was lifted. It’s behaviour like that the brings the legal profession into disrepute.

      Mandelson acting affronted as though he is an unimpeachable man of integrity accosted out of nowhere, is absurd. Shut up, Peter. The Speaker correctly passed on information.

      Damned if you do damned if you don’t. If Hoyle had not passed it on and Mandelson escaped he would be fired. Now he will be fired for preventing that 🫠

      Clearly had evidence, took them a week to arrest him which means they verified something.

      I understand sometimes I’m running with headphones and I don’t notice say a bike on the pavement riding my way until I look up last minute, I’m just zoned out completely. But Jesus Ive never so much as approached a road to cross without coming back to reality and not taking notice of what’s going on around me. If you’re that bad that’s a thing you should have previously noticed in your life and you’d have to avoid ever running near roads again.

      Surely being a British territory, the British Virgin Islands would have a fairly robust extradition treaty with the UK?

      Why would he flee to somewhere that we own though? Surely youd flee to somewhere without an extradition treaty?
