      I used to work near a Coco Ichibanya and we couldn’t figure out how it even stayed in business. Nobody was ever there and on the rare occasion we went there for a change the curry was very basic yet somehow also surprisingly expensive.

      Tell this to a tourist and they will have a breakdown…

      I never really got how cocoichi still exists and is everywhere. It’s insanely expensive for its relative low quality. Most mid tier cities and above will have local curry shops that are **much** higher quality and it’s not even close.

      Most of the time I pass by I only see tourists going to cocoichi too

      CoCos is great! The one I went to when I lived in Sendai was often busy

      Strange how these most hated places are always packed, not to mention the insane lines for McDonald’s drive through.

      Never had a bad meal at Ikinari Steak. Al’s never stepped foot inside a cocoichi. I don’t know what to do. どうしよう

      Coco ? they honestly deserve it very overpriced basic curry

      i don’t get the saizeriya hate. the food is passable and you can basically order the whole food menu for less than 10k
