These people don’t Google OR read…. You have to SHOVE the truth into their faces, on a daily basis… Worked for my mom.. Took a few weeks though…
They are laughing because you are trying to force a conversation too hard. When you do that you never win on any level. The time is coming. Keep learning and paying attention. When its time to have the conversation you wont have to force it. And the more naturally it happens without you forcing it the more effective and healing it is for everyone on all levels. Stay humble and patient.
I don’t even have conversations about anything with boomers. They’re the most ignorant and unaware people ever, yet they think they know everything.

Some may be dealing with cognitive dissonance because it’s incredibly hard for them to believe their world was based on a lie and their life was generally wasted away as economic/debt slaves.
As for rest? I do believe some of them will never accept this and fight for the system, but hopefully in due course they’ll become minority then they’ll finally be forced to accept.

if your house 10x’d in value and you had a full social security fund and pension…you wouldn’t question the system that got you there
Why do people who purport to distrust the government blindly accept that the files released by the DOJ are authentic? Is it because it aligns with/affirms beliefs they already had? How can we know that an AI wasn’t prompted to generate these files for some reason we may not be able to understand? I’m not saying this is the case, but I’d like to understand why all skepticism went out the window on this particular issue, when you all frequently talk about how corrupt and even how evil the government is. Maybe you blindly accept the files as genuine, even though they’re being released by an entity you say you don’t trust, for a similar reason to why people dismiss the files uncritically. In both instances, people are clinging to their worldview. For you guys, it’s that the world is run by cannibalistic psychopaths, and for the non believers, it’s that the world is a generally good place.
People have been saying these things for decades and been getting laughed at. Why would they change their opinion just because there’s evidence now?

You would be surprised how many “boomers” know about this already and many have been raising awareness and silenced over the years!

Interesting that divisions are being created to distract from the main issues.
The world is run by PDFiles , corruption, greed and evil … people need to unite to stand against instead of casting blame or making slurs in the wrong places/dynamics.
They were the generation that benefited the most (from birth until now) from the imperialist capitalism and we’re brought up on the propeganda that reinforced all of their beliefs in US supremacy and patriotism. We have to understand the layers and layers of their foundations, and ultimately alot of them just won’t be able to handle the truths of their entire life being a complete lie and ontological shock genuinely to find out how much of a bubble they’ve been contained in throughout. It’s not something to mock them for as tempting as it may feel because it’s obviously infuriating at this point to tolerate… Sigh.
The reason the fight scene in They Live is so painfully long is because it’s a metaphor for this kinda situation. People are super reluctant to ‘put on the glasses’ and see the truth when it challenges the narrative they’re programmed to believe, or have to face things they know are true but don’t want to face.

Not this reason. We grew up in a time when children and women were more valued, at least on the surface. I am Gen X, but early. We didn’t know until now, and we google, I am appalled, but then I write about conspiracy theories, and wrote about Pizzagate. I will be following it. Most people do little more than what we are doing on reddit, including her.
