I don’t really understand what the different shades of green are supposed to mean. Why are Sweden and Germany the exact same colour even though Germany contributed four times as much?
Now subtract the amount each country gave Russia back through trade

Kiel Institute severly underestimating Polish aid, as usual.

Canada 14 billion with a population of 40 million, is impressive compared to Italy, 14 billion with a population of over 60. Sweden and Norway are also outliers with the amount donated, well done.

Ukraine won’t be able to repay this debt

Why is everyone financing a lost war instead of funding their own people to live better lives? I can’t even afford to buy a house or rent an apartment, but my money is going into a fucking war.
I know people disagree with me but guys why do you care about this usuless war while you all including me are becoming more poor than ever.
We are financing an country which will never be ablbe to pay this debt back to us all

Romania does not disclose the amount and the help it gives it’s basically classified.
That aid specified there is mostly through the EU and a Patriot AA battery that it gave.

So this includes the cost of equipment and training too?

It’s frustrating that my beautifull country of Czechia had both main parties in charge since the start of the war. One whose literally main gig is we support Ukraine. And we gave shit.

Since the start of the war in February 2022, Switzerland has allocated a bit over 6 billion Swiss francs in support related to Ukraine. Converted into U.S. dollars, that’s roughly $6.5–6.8 billion USD.

Thats a lot of western wealth going into Ukraine with no audits of where it goes or is spent. I bet a lot fo that ends up back in these politicians bank accounts eventually.

Man Russia hasn’t contributed anything

So much cheaper than having to send your own people and resources to fight directly.
This is basically a cost saving measure

Is this embarrassing for Swiss people? Rich ass country giving almost the smallest amount?
Germany has five times more inhabitants than the Netherlands. Yet it contributed only three times more than the Netherlands, according to these numbers.

I mean do it in % of GDP? Or at least per capita?
[According to Polish government](https://businessinsider.com.pl/gospodarka/jaka-jest-wartosc-pomocy-udzielonej-przez-polske-ukrainie-pawel-kowal-prezentuje/yweqwts), Poland contributed $29,5B in 2022-2023 alone. This probably includes social spending on Ukrainian refugees, but that’s „only“ $5,5B in those years.
Romania is so low. Surprising.
