I still don’t understand how we can be doing this putting more sanctions on Russia and than turn around and work with the CCP and no not the trade deals the security, intelligence and „journalist“ stuff. Being that China is the one helping Russia evade sanctions and bank rolling the war

My biggest problem with this kind of aid is tracking it. Where exactly does the money go? What’s to stop it from getting funneled into corrupt officials? Once it leaves our border there’s no telling where it’s actually going.

We’re shipping out old military equipment and buying new stuff, the valutations they throw on these things is crazy.

Remember when we sent 80,000 unarmed cold war rockets to Ukraine? They called that hundreds of millions of dollars, when it was left over junk we can’t even use.

We help Ukraine because they are holding the line. Would it be better to h9ld the line closer to home or try when it comes to our own border.

Burying your head in the sand and saying it’s not our problem is what allowed Hitler and Japan to take us to the brink.

Enough is enough, we have a homeless crisis, housing crisis and a healthcare crisis. How many more billions do we have to give to Ukraine while our people suffer?

I’ve been liking Carney for the most part. Not a fan of this. How about we spend $2B on food and medical treatment for Canadians? How much of that $2B in military aid is just going into the pockets of U.S. arms dealers?

I just did the math for 2 billion dollars you could pay the rent for over 100k homeless people for a year at around 1500$ a month . Yet we keep giving our money to help other countries

The comments here really show that a lot of people have zero clue whatsoever what that aid entails or how it works. That or they’re operating in blatant bad faith.
