      Unfortunately I have a couple of lifelong friends that are in the MAGA cult. They love that Trump is destroying the GOP. They have said they elected him to be a wrecking ball.

      I don’t think this is accurate. Part of him is terrified of being impeached again. But psychologically, all he really knows how to do is double down, so he won’t be changing course. And his flatterers will tell him that everything’s great right up until the last minute.

      It’s his last term so he doesn’t have to worry about re-election.

      The Supreme Court essentially gave him a free pass to do whatever he wants while in office.

      He will likely issue himself a pardon before leaving office.

      He’s used the presidency to become even richer via international bribes.

      Trump cares about Trump, he doesn’t and never has given a rats ass about Republicans, be it voters or the politicians that kiss his big orange ass. Seems like everyone saw this a decade ago except for them.
