Man, it maybe so, but your biggest ally turning into a pariah will not be a laughing matter when shit hits the fan.

  2. And that’s the good news. For most of it all, we’re quickly becoming the enemy. And that’s not good.

I would argue Americans did that by electing Trump as their leader and representative on the world stage…

And not only once but twice.

After the first time noone can say he would not know how ridiculous Trump is…

And I think that unfortunately Americans will not learn from it again, and elect the next Trump in the foreseeable future.

The Trump and Murdoch families must be publicly, tried, and publicly punished for their crimes against humanity

Trump is addressing the Congress and nation today, Tuesday, with his annual State of the Union address. It’ll be a whinefest with plenty of lies.

Trump is the cartoon character that used to represent the US to the rest of the world.

By staffing the DOJ with unqualified hacks it’s easier to defame the institution when he faces charges…

  8. I have to be honest. When it comes to certain things US is already a laughing stock.
Lack of proper police education. Trying to fix gun violence with more guns. Rather have medical debt than a health population (through universal health care). Thinking a market controlled by oligarchs and monopolies is a „free market“, instead of just another form of controll market (aka „communism“). Letting a CEO decide how easy and accessible a given thing should be for you, is no different than letting a communist leader to the same IMHO.

Cynically speaking. For me Trump is more a case of US not being able to keep their own madness contained to their own borders. I believe that sovereign state are allowed to run whatever madness they want. As long as the sovereign state I live in can keep it’s own brand of madness (translated: There are no perfect systems/solutions).

From horror show to comedy show. As a citizen of the Kingdom of Denmark, I was initially scared what might happen. However, the latest „hospital boat“ initiative, has made it clear just how incompetent and moronic the US administration is, and has turned the the whole administration into a comedy show.

Bob Monkhouse once said „everyone laughed when I said I was going to be a comedian. They’re not laughing now“.

This isn’t a laughing matter. Trump is dragging the world closer and closer to turmoil, and the only winners will be the billionaires.

Americans – wow that was just something else in the 80ties and 90ties. Now I cheer for Canada. It really became conscious to me now watching the Olympics… they need decades to recover from this.

  12. He is simultaneously weakening the United States, strengthening the positions of its enemies- and setting himself up to be a virtual cyber crypto emperor of his own military enterprise entity.

He already had in his first term. Too many morons decided to vote for him anyway.

I feel less laughter, although there is some, and more just utter contempt.

Nothing funny about it. He is doing a lot of damage, to a lot of people.

No US voters did that. I was in the US in 2024 on the east coats and every white male I spoke to, all educated white collar workers in Fortune 500 banks couldn’t wait to tell me they were voting for Trump. There is no excuse.

  17. It is fascinating to see how brazenly Trump and his friends push through their corrupt deals. It would be interesting to know how much the people around Trump have already earned through insider trading and investments at the “right” time. I’m almost of the opinion that all this customs business is just a ploy to buy shares or stakes in companies at the right time. This could also be the case with military operations and threats of war. Perhaps Trump and his friends just want to profit from Iran’s oil sales, as he does with oil from Venezuela. His private account in Qatar could certainly use some more money. And he does this quite openly, while everyone just stands by and watches. This is corruption 2.0!

He’s doing it on purpose , he hates America cause he was guilty ,, he’s doing all he can to break your economy, healthcare , foreign relations . He doesn’t care he’s got billions , just move to Scotland or somewhere else he owns a golf course

  19. Not just Trump. His administration has provided plenty of laughs too.

Incredible that these people have been able to get into power.

The American constitution was meant to prevent this sort of usurpation, wasn’t it? Seems to be completely worthless now.

I don’t think many are laughing, for 80 years the world has been dominated by a country that advocates for the rule of law, decency and diplomacy; Trump put cracks into that in his first administration and America was able to paper over those cracks when he left.

This time he went for the foundations, and the checks and balances just let him do it.

Laughing? No. Disgust, probably more appropriate.

Which one of the seventy seven million oxygen thieves that voted for this vile creature, has the brain cell ?

  22. nasorrty346tfrgser on

I don’t think is fair to just put all the blame on Trump. He is not just one person, he is representing 1/3 of Americans too.

He just made the ugly side of America resurface, and it is always there.

Trump, republicans in every branch of government and their deplorable voters….. it’s been a total team effort by these pedophile loving shit stains

  24. Due-Resort-2699 on

He did that a decade ago.

The difference is now it’s no longer funny . It’s fucking terrifying .

  25. StrawberryBandit92 on

Now it will take decades to fix the damage that has been done. I feel sorry for some of the older people in my life because they’ll more than likely never see things get better.
