So great so see our conservatives uniting on demagoguery! Such a welcome change of pace from their normal tactics of… oh right.. more demagoguery.

You’ll also get thrown under the bus whenever it’s convenient for the right. Smith wanted higher immigration not long ago, but it’s more useful for her now to use them as a scapegoat.
One year ago, Danielle Smith was calling for over 5 million immigrants directly into Alberta. It’s astounding that her model collapsed before she even got the province to 5 million.
The province should take the message and recall this incompetent leadership.
This is the oldest and most commonly used trick in the conservative book of politics.
Unfortunately it never stops working. Scapegoating different looking people has worked so often in so many different places all through human history.
Classic Conservative playbook move the world over: “Don’t blame me, blame that guy who doesn’t look like you and speaks funny!”
