Defrauded the HSE of 58k over 17 years.
Meanwhile had two bank accounts containing 830k and 667k….now frozen.
Dentists don’t do crime well.
Sentencing is bizarre in this country. Violent criminals often get suspended sentences yet this guy gets a year.
Its a bit weird to see the guy who was inside your mouth a few months ago on the national news….
Jail for 3k per year fraud. Mad. Just pay it back with interest and add community service.

Let’s just agree that he was probably robbing the hse to a far greater extent than they could prove and that was a factor in his sentence.
It shouldn’t be. But let’s agree it was.
Meanwhile Barry from the flats is in court on ANOTHER assault charge and gets a suspended sentence.
By that logic, the other 50 offences they suspect he’s done but can’t prove should also be taken into account during sentencing.
