Personally, I don’t quite get the hype around that cathedral, but *dang* it does look impressive in the right lighting (which definitely isn’t daylight).
It’s impressive, isn’t it? Imagine all the centuries it has seen.
You got lucky.
Everytime I visited Cologne the Dom was under construction.
