    Der Löwe und das Schwert „Tamgha“ wurden nicht ausschließlich im aserbaidschanischen türkischen Safawidenreich oder im Irewan-Khanat in Aserbaidschan verwendet. Heute finden sich ähnliche Bilder im Wappen Finnlands und auf der Flagge Sri Lankas.

      Not the same sword for the most part. The 1st sword with a V shape tip has a special meaning to muslim Shias. Lots of them in Azerbaijan.

      Safavid Empire was Iran lol, Azerbaijani as a nationality or concept of a country didnt exist back then.

      What is today Azerbaijan was part of Iran until russia annexed it 100 years ago from Iran.
