  1. No brainer really.

He has close on 0% chance of realistically ever being King with numerous people in front, however the humiliation of every Commonwealth Parliament telling him to get sodded is absolutely worth it.

  2. Australia doesn’t really give much of a toss but no politician in their right mind is going  to defend him or go against it and give ammunition to another party.

  3. All commonwealth relems need to agree but I don’t really see anyone saying no to it.

It’s more symbolic anyway but yeah, I think all Commonwealth countries would agree to this

  5. Australia doing a full-court basketball throw from across the world.

    Good on them

I mean, it’s kinda acting like you’re doing something about a pedo criminal while actually doing nothing in reality.

  7. We’re always told that these people are in line to the throne by the grace of god, so why change it? This is purely a face-saving exercise by the monarchy. Let the royal family live and die on the fact that they protected him for a long time and with full knowledge of what was going on.

He should keep his succession as a reminder of the privilege he abused, and he should keep his titles as a future reminder for other people of what they associate with when they join the baubles club. The only thing I support besides a criminal investigation is taking his income, because it my fucking taxpayer money that paid for his original settlement and maintained his ability to associate with Epstein.

I thought he had been removed from the line of succession when they removed his titles.

  9. Having Australia come out and say this makes me think it is only a matter of time before it happens.

He’s so far down the line I don’t really see the point of wasting time on it. He’s a scumbag, but so unlikely to be king that getting rid of him is almost performative.

I mean, consider me a noob at matters of English Primogeniture, but I thought removing his Royal Titles WAS stripping him of his rights of succession.

I thought this was already done.

Is this necessary to discuss? Just put him in prison. If someone rapes a girl, that guy will go prison. His company may fire him, but there is no need to talk about that.

    >Australia’s prime minister has told Sir Keir Starmer his government would back plans to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from line of royal succession.
    >
    >Anthony Albanese expressed his support for such a proposal in a letter to the UK prime minister.
    >
    >.. The UK government is considering introducing legislation to remove him from the line of succession. It follows Andrew’s arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office on Thursday. He has consistently and strenuously denied any wrongdoing.

  15. Naw he should totally stay on.

Just in the event he is made King, and we can all reflect on how fucking silly this entire monarchy system is.
