  1. >Widely known for using the power of his office to engage in [myriad anti-LGBTQ+ political crusades](https://glaad.org/gap/ken-paxton/) — including the [December 2025 introduction](https://www.them.us/story/texas-trans-bathroom-law-tip-line-illegal-ken-paxton) of a tip line that tacitly encourages Texans to photograph trans people using the restroom — Paxton issued a press release accompanying the lawsuit that describes youth transition as “child abuse,” vowing to bring “swift and unrelenting justice” to Lola Olivia and other companies that sell binders.

    >The lawsuit also fails to acknowledge that binding existed long before the advent of companies that design these gender-affirming garments, just through far less safe means. [Experts fear](https://19thnews.org/2026/02/fda-binding-transgender-health/) that the FDA seeking to reduce access to binders will lead young trans people to bind with unsafe materials like duct tape, electrical tape, and ACE bandages. “They may believe that a binder is not safe, because they don’t know what the alternative was,” 58-year-old Sean Ebony Coleman told [The 19th](https://19thnews.org/2026/02/fda-binding-transgender-health/) this week.

    >“Back in my day, we didn’t have binders. We used electrical tape. We would wrap with an ACE bandage, and then go around it with electrical tape,” Coleman [said](https://19thnews.org/2026/02/fda-binding-transgender-health/). “So just imagine wearing that for eight to ten hours a day, the harm that it caused.”

Christian nationalists are some serious assholes, I honestly must say. They, instead of actually trying to sit down and learn from trans people about what they need and who they are, choose to engage in hate out pure bigotry. They pick on and commit violence against trans people, claiming that this is „What Jesus would do“.

They make a mockery of faith and are the biggest turn-offs for Christianity. If being a Christian means being a bully towards trans people just trying to survive another day, then I’d rather be a heathen destined for hell. I don’t care.

All because they think trans people are weird and icky. I’m so fucking tired, y’all. I just wanna live, and be allowed to be myself.

If Texas Justice were Swift and unrelenting, this corrupt motherfucker would be in prison

  4. I feel Paxton is doing this because he is seeing how the midterms are going and is trying to distract.

  5. High heels and corsets however he still thinks are ok. Same with makeup.

He should be honest and say he hates people that dare challenge his restrictive values. Plus that he doesn’t care if he himself breaks them.

If it wasn’t for jackoffs like this idiot, people would likely barely even know what a transgender person IS, much less ever meet or see one. It’s bigots like this that keep forcing transgender into the news by going out of their way to harass a group of people that never do anything to otherwise earn that attention themselves that gives the whole concept massive notoriety. Notoriety that transgender people otherwise would be too few and too niche to get on their own.

Ironically, these bigots have likely resulted in a lot more people becoming trans who otherwise wouldn’t have even thought of doing so because of the attention they forced transgender to have.

There are lots of different types of binders that are used for medical reasons. I’m sure he will try to ban them all and further pull Texas into the sewer in the meantime. Good luck with any Texan getting surgery that needs help with binders to aid in their recovery. I hope this man has some large and painful moobs.

F**k Paxton, I can’t believe he is polling higher then Cornyn, but then again I don’t c want any republican winning in Texas and I plan to vote straight Democrat this week.

Paxton should be in jail and anyone who agrees with his money wasting frivolous lawsuits that have nothing to do with him.

  9. well would ya look at that. the anti-cancel-culture wimps are trying to cancel everything… they must be so terribly ~~frightened~~ insecure

I’m a 40 year old woman aggrieved with this aspect of my body being in my fucking way.

Now I’m going to make one to piss of Paxton.

  12. The crazy to think that the majority of voters in Texas actually love this shit. How does this make your life better? Does it lower the cost of living, increase your wages? Or does it just make you feel good to hurt people that aren’t like you!

Apparently there’s nothing more important to republicans than regulating children’s breasts

What the hell gives the AG of Tx the right to tell me what clothes I can wear.

    He’s gonna lose big-time

Trans rights are human rights, and any threat against them should be considered a threat against us all. No demographic is too small to be protected.

Is he going to also ban push-up bras because they can probably cause as many problems as binders?

  17. Ahhh, see, a totally rational and completely not insane use of taxpayer revenues. Yep, MAGA is sooooo not the party of snowflakes. Nope, not them. Not the party of cancel culture either. Noooo, they totally welcome everyone! Yep 👍 that’s them.

The absolutely not insane, fully not stupid, able to get out of paper bags, MAGA party.

Ken Paxton has to be the biggest asshole around. Didn’t this guy cheat on his wife with multiple women, yet the religious right are so hypocritical that they are ok with it. My hope is he beats Cornyn in the primary and hopefully either crockett or talarico beat the fuck out of him in the general, although I would take any margin of victory, this is texas after all

LGBTQ+ people aren’t making your gas and groceries cost more, or raping children. Trump and his buddies are doing that…
