      And if Ukraine falls sPutin will continue the war slowly but steadily throughout Europe as he believes ruzzia were treated unfairly by them and he wants retribution.

      That’s because Putin doesn’t have enough resources in conventional warfare to take on the rest of his adversaries. As long as Ukraine resists and most of Russia’s men and domestically produced weapons are committed to it, Russia can’t do anything else.

      Continuing the war is the only thing keeping Putin politically alive. For him, stopping now isn’t an option, and there won’t be any meaningful peace negotiations as long as Russia is unwilling to make concessions. The real danger is escalation – that’s where the risk is highest.

      I mean if the standard for a “World War” is now nations using another state as a proxy to indirectly damage another power, we’re probably on like WW15 or something.

      It seems that Putin really need this war to keep going or until Ukraine or Europe give in (or up).
