The Bureau of Labor Statistics found that U.S. employers added 181,000 jobs last year, far fewer than the 1.46 million jobs that were added in 2024.

Imagine how bad it really is when it’s this bad with their fake numbers.

But bigger bills. If people in the 99% voted for fiscal prosperity both for themselves, and a caveat here, for their kids and grandchildren, they chose poorly. It seems a selfish vote and a fearful vote, with disregard for future generations.

The fact that we didn’t even lost job in 2025 proved how Biden left him a good economy

But according to Orange felon, it is the greatest time to be alive for job seekers!

So it’s a normal year with a Republican president. Even Trump himself has acknowledged that economy is better under Democrats.

Worst year for job growth since the last Republican President in 2003 lolz

Cue Trump boasting about how he has created billions of American jobs – more than anyone in the history of jobs. Biggest jobs, too. Better jobs than anyone can even believe. Because rim jobs are real jobs.

That’s 300 jobs per state per month in a country of 350 million people.

I got DOGE’d from a new position in February of last year and then laid off because of all of the cuts by the end of the year. Finding a new position is as hard as it’s ever been even with the Master’s degree I have. But I should shut up and celebrate how great everything is going because the oligarch class is making more money than ever, right?

I lost my job in September of 2024. I still don’t have a full time job. So, no shit. What a surprising piece of news!

I was one of those who got a job in 2025 and I only got it because I knew the boss and had worked with him before. If I didn’t have that connection I may still be looking till this day (the rest of my applications went basically nowhere)

This is the republican plan to crash the economy as they always do.

  14. TheGOPisTheDeepState on

The Republican Party is terrible for the economy, job creation, fiscally irresponsible and not conservative. They’ve been like this for many of many decades, and typically cause recessions.

  15. What’s worse,. is the small amount of jobs that were created, were largely in Healthcare and Social Services.

In a healthy and robust economy,.. job-growth should be spread (diversely) across a wide range of niches.

  16. „The U.S. economy experienced almost zero job growth in 2025, according to revised federal data. On a more encouraging note: Hiring has picked up in 2026.“

Meanwhile, below the fold they’re reporting that last year’s jobs numbers were a complete lie and were revised down by nearly a million jobs.

  17. Almost no job growth? It’s that damn Biden’s fault, I just know it!

Don’t worry about the job market, all the companies are calling Trump, and with a tear in their eye they say please sir, please, let me build a factory in the greatest country in the world! PLEASE SIR, LET ME HELP MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Sadly for them, Trump has already made america great. Grocery bill too high? no it’s not. Can’t afford rent or a house? if you’d let us deport immigrants with no trial it’d be cheaper. Can’t get a job? Why are you talking about jobs when the stock market is doing so well?!

Something something voter ID. something something transgender for everybody.

I’d do a better job at mocking him, but I’m afraid they’d think it was an audition and try to hire me to write his speeches.

Keep in mind that the BLS was compromised in August last year when the head of the BLS was fired by Trump because she reported accurate jobs numbers. Take these recent numbers with a massive mound of salt.

The only growth was in medicine.

It doesn’t help that the Federal government paid off hundreds of thousands of something stupid without any consideration.

And the AI tech Nazis are causing layoffs of many skilled workers.

  20. Rum_Hamtaro on

Maybe they guy that’s been screaming „WE’RE BRINGING JOBS BACK TO AMERICA!“ and also at the same time knocking down every guardrail for A.I. has been lying to us?

  21. misterlakatos on

As someone that was laid off in both 2024 and 2025 and spent most of 2025 on the job market desperately trying to land something, I can assure you all it was absolutely fucking brutal. There was no end in sight and I am still catching up after thankfully landing a job back in January.

This administration is a fucking horror show on so many levels and the job market and hiring processes are absolutely fucked. I sincerely feel for anyone on the market right now struggling to swim upstream.

  22. hackingdreams on

The US Economy is fucking *dead stalled* and they’re trying impossibly hard to make it seem like there’s any activity at all.

This administration has nuked the economy, they know it, and they’re embarrassed.

  23. Every single contact I have in IT at different companies are laying off and not hiring replacements and spreading that work around. At my job Im already doing t1/t2/t3 and noc work. I will get tickets nobody has touched that are a few days old to a few minutes old. With nothing on the hiring side, no new hires in months, months of backed up service and top of all that, no bonuses either.

  24. Weird how when you have a complete idiot running the country everything goes to shit.

  25. P0pu1arBr0ws3r on

Dont worry we havent been in a recession for the past 3-5 years according to experts. Theres nothing to worry about as you csnt pay for anything and can’t work.

Just dont believe what you see right in front of your eyes and youll do fine.

  26. This is what the „economically anxious“ voted for.

They hated the results of the republican tax scam and the bungled covid response that hampered the following administration… So they put the same people that fucked them over in charge again
