I will always remember Fiona Apple saying that being stuck in a screening room with (then bf) PTA and QT one late night was all it took to get her off cocaine forever.
I’ll be honest, while entertaining at times I really didn’t like this movie. It’s rare that I hate almost every character. The fact it won best flick proves the point of those he’s calling out in my opinion.
Have not watched it yet.. is it one of those movies that all critics love but is terrible for entertainment(eg for me royal tenenbaums, the green knight, lost in translation)?
I think the worst of “movies aren’t good anymore” is behind us. Marvel was a plague.
I think everyone agrees that good movies are still getting made…I think the point was that the movies that win awards are ususally just political propaganda and are not very good.

This movie was very weirdlt entertaining and I can decide of if I liked it as on the nose, self aware satire or if was pretentious and annoying. lol
