      For sure seems faked, but why? Like…. is it soo bad that they’re hoping the video makes it back to Russia and the war can end? Or…. like what is it? No matter how you cut this, whether it’s real, not real…. it’s fucking weird, and makes no sense.

      This is just horribly sad. A lot of these guys were from poor as fuck rural places, broke dick living in a shithole. Then got lied into enlisting for money and they’re treated like dogs. Many of these guys honestly had no fucking clue what this was about or what they were getting into. I actually know Russians IRL and the propaganda they’re subjected to is like woooowwwww holy shit. A lot of them know the truth and a lot of them don’t.

      I only have 4 years of Infantry training and have never been to combat, but I can say with every fiber of my being that this platoon* well call them, is absolutely beyond fucked if the video accurately describes their situation. You see the platoon employing basic “cover and move” techniques in *very* open terrain which is a big no no in an of itself. They have a soldier whose injuries require a litter, but they’ve clearly deemed him ambulatory(mobile) based on how bad off they are. He still clearly a liability, I mean I could write several paragraphs on how fucked up this looks for one of the worlds “superpower” militaries. Yea they’re cooked, and have greatly impaired their own platoons maneuverability by insisting a clearly disabled soldier be part of this movement, again likely out of necessity but for crying out loud it’s suicide mission if you’re a squad leader and this is the hand you’re told to play.

      Tldr: as a former infantry man I would rather tell my commander to kill or jail me on spot than to execute a patrol based op with that many red flags. Fuck No.

      I’ll be completely honest, sometimes I see these types of videos and all I can think is „this has to be satire, right? Right?!“.

      I’m from the US and although my country is not doing so good, I couldn’t imagine our military being sent into battle on crutches or with major injuries.

      Then I see tankies make comments like „there’s nothing wrong with these guys, if they can hold a gun, they can fight“ or „these are fake videos to make ru look bad“ and I realize how serious this is

      Yeah, this is why Russia is going to do a full forced draft. They don’t have any other options at this point. They are locking down communications as we speak, by baning civilian apps in favor of a government created app. To control what is said to whom, and prevent people in the military from coordinating against the government.

      Mark my words, shit is gonna get a whole lot worse for Russians and Ukrainians, because Putin will never admit defeat.
