Armand Marchant is my personal highlight. While he finished 5th in Alpine skiing, he beat a lot of Norwegian, Swiss, Austrian and even more importantly, all the French.

It’s all about perspective. Last place on the good list isn’t that bad.
Amerika mag ook niet zo veel atleten afvaardigen. Zit daar geen quotum op ? Bij de zomerspelen is dat toch zo. In de wegwielerploeg zitten 4 Belgen en 4 Amerikanen. Als je dat zou doortrekken, zou team USA daar eigenlijk met 120 coureurs moeten staan :/
