There is concerningly little resistance against these propagandists.
Orbán’s lies aren’t just pathetic. They’re so grotesquely shameless that even his own spineless lack of principles looks almost admirable by comparison. And let’s be real, that’s a fucking low bar.

In Czech Republic the new government tries to put state TV directly under their control. If they succeed, this will be the outcome. And most Czech people are too stupid to on understand that, they cheer for it because they got promised no more TV fees. Which is like 5 euro per month or so.
Orban’s modus operandi is to assume voters are stupid and knee-jerk.

Here in the States we’re starting to see a key demographic awaken to trumps toxic effects on the country. Not huge- but a start. I share this because this demographic seems to be a problem in Europe (and maybe globally). I’m talking about the older folks who are by nature conservatives, somewhat racist and definitely xenophobic. They view these traits these as features, but bugs, btw.
They consider these traits “patriotic” and seek a uniform society, as they live generally with fear. Fear of “others” fear of change, fear of being called racist and being ostracized.
I’d love to just ignore these people but they control a significant voting block and our societies NEED them to change. THINK about what YOUR country would be like if these 60+ year olds didn’t vote so heavily for the corrupt entrenched conservative wing in every government. We probably can’t defeat them in sheer numbers- but the more moderate ones ARE GETTING SICK OF TRUMP, and that’s a start towards change that can only be for the better.
Everyone work on ONE older person in your sphere and enlighten them. Or lock them in on Election Day 😂
From what I’ve heard, even the more level-headed Fidesz-voters find this too much.
