      If you zoom out and look at the historical context, you’ll see a consistent pattern of the West encroaching on Russia. This has happened despite repeated assurances from the United States and its NATO allies that they would not expand eastward. Over time, those promises were effectively discarded. Eventually, Russia decided it had reached its limit. To be clear, I am not Russian and I do not condone their actions. However, it’s impossible to ignore that the U.S. and its allies often act as a destabilizing force. In this case, Ukraine has become the latest victim, tragically falling into the geopolitical trap set by both sides.
