I haven’t been following this much, if at all. Saw the same article and came here. As somebody that hasn’t really followed the progress of Artermis II outside of a few significant announcements, it feels really sudden to make this announcement, so I’m going to ask some stupid questions.
Can anybody explain the rationale behind the announcement and launch date being like 2 weeks? Is it due to expected weather following the recent fuel test, is this a typical time gap, or had this been planned out for a while? As someone that doesn’t know the typical scheduling of tests before final launch, I would have thought there’d be a much longer gap.

We leave on a cruise to the Bahamas out of the cape March 6th. I hope we will be able to see this!
