there used to be a normal pedestrian crossing, they tried to remove it, now it looks like a modern pedestrian crossing.

A crossing to a side with no path seems pretty standard. Paths that funnel pedestrians into dead ends, that a real Maltese speciality.
Probably trying (and failing) to remove a temporary pedestrian crossing, which would have been painted yellow instead of white.

this was designed and based on one of the hardest questions in the universe….is a zebra white with black lines or is it black with white lines? that is the real question! this masterpiece encapsulates diversity and out of the box thinking! Great work! Of course all sentences are super sarcastic….looks awful, a job done terribly.
