    1. Trump will escalate now even more than before. I thought everything would come to a head by the 2028 elections. Now it appears everything will come crashing down by November, 2026.

      A cornered animal is always the most dangerous.

      make no mistake, he will do everything possible to stop from losing power and the polls are just an advance warning for him to go extreme. It might cause some of his underlings to get weak knees, though.

    3. Wake me up when his approval rating dips below 30%. He still has most of his base right now, and those lunatics will support him until the bitter end. The Republicans in Congress still (mostly) support him, too.

      Come on, give the orange clown a break! He does everything what people wants – releasing small parts of Epstein files. Protecting him self and other pedos from the rest of the files. Attacking Venezuela, Iran and more. Stopping 8+3 wars in his head. Releasing info on UFO’s. Increasing cost of goods through tariffs. Threating Greenland, Canada and other allies, so they stop buying US products.

      Give the man some slack, he deserves better

      Turns out that most Americans don’t like living under a fascist kakistrocracy run by child rapists. Go figure.

      Let’s take a long breath and think on this one more time.

      TRUMP. Rap*ed. CHILDREN.

      Nobody should approve of him. ZERO.

    7. This is going to be the play…He’s going to get crushed in the midterms then sue that they were not legitimate and try to delay seating the new Congress for as along as humanly possible.

    8. How in Gods name is his approval rate at 38. Shouldn’t it be like around 2 percent.

    9. The Truth Social post is crazy as usual but especially this part:

      >if they ever gain power, will not only be adding two States to our roster of 50, with all of the baggage thereto, but will also PACK THE COURT with a total of 21 Supreme Court Justices, THEIR DREAM, which they will submit easily and rapidly when they immediately move to terminate the Filibuster, probably in their first week, or sooner.

      **Statement 1: They will add two states**

      * Facts;
      * Trump has repeatedly talked about adding [Canada as a 51st state](https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/trump-51st-state-again-1.7647268).
      * Some [republican lawmakers have suggested statehood for Greenland](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/greenland-randy-fine-bill-51st-state/).
      * The newly appointed ambassador to Iceland likewise suggested [Iceland could become the 52nd state](https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/us-ambassador-iceland-trump-9.7048349).
      * Many in GOP are against though, because any of those countries would add 2 consistently blue senators, if they became states. Canada is too large to give any other status (but is also really too big to be relevant). Both Greenland and Iceland, if ever relevant, would probably only be given COFA status or similar to avoid giving them political influence.

      **Statement 2: They will pack the court with 21 SCOTUS justices**

      * Facts:
      * Republicans held back Obamas nomination of Merrick Garland for SCOTUS in Spring 2016, with the reasoning that it was an election year. That would have been his 3rd appointment, but was stalled until Trump took office.
      * Trump nominated and had senate confirm a total of 3 of the current 9 judges in his first term. So that seems fairly even given Obamas 3 nominations and 2 confirmations. But it includes Amy Coney Barrett, confirmed as late as Oct. 26 2020 to take Ruth Bader Ginsburgs very liberal seat, just days before the presidential election where Biden took office. This time the Republicans had no problem confirming a judge in an election year, and in the final days before an election even.
      * ~~It may be argued Democrats are complicit here, because they could have refused to confirm ACB by filibustering~~ Never mind – The limit for confirmation had been lowered by that time, no filibustering of judges anymore..
      * Joe Biden had just one judge nominated and confirmed in his term.
      * Another point is that 21 new SCOTUS judges are hardly needed. Expanding it from 9 to 13 would be enough to flip the balance if the Democrats wanted to do so. Not sure where that 21 comes from to be honest.
      * In conclusion there is not evidence towards DEMS packing the courts, on the contrary Trump has moved hard and fast with the GOP to not only confirm SCOTUS justices, but also appoint lower level judges and purge government agencies of any political critics and enemies.
      * Sources: [List of nominations to the Supreme Court of the United States – Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nominations_to_the_Supreme_Court_of_the_United_States#Obama)

      **Statement 3: They will immediately move to terminate the Filibuster, probably in their first week, or sooner**

      * Facts:
      * Trump has repeatedly urged Republicans to kill the filibuster, including [as late as during the government shutdown last year](https://www.politico.com/news/2025/10/31/trump-republicans-kill-filibuster-00631221)
      * Trump asked for it already [during his last term](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-calls-for-end-to-filibuster-says-senate-republicans-look-like-fools/)
      * Republicans have floated the idea multiple times in various forms, but have ultimately not done so because of the risk they face when/if democrats comes back into office.

      Was it withdrawing ten billion from the country like it’s an ATM?

      Or one of the thousands of other examples of poor leadership.

    11. The article says his approval ratings are at 38%. Haven’t they been at this level for a long time now? Where’s the “brutal turn”?

    12. canucklehead272 on

      Every article that treats Trump‘s polling in a typical horse race style but doesn’t talk about his unprecedented attacks on election infrastructure, security, and legitimacy is just a journalist manufacturing consent for the cheating we’re about to witness.

      Prison vs steal election. Better watch this animal as he gets backed deeper into the corner

    14. I mean, technically just based on the accusations and the fact that he is a convicted felon, he would be disqualified to run a lemonade stand if there are children living within 1000 yards.

      So tell me again why he is allowed to hold onto the Oval Office.

      Trump is really losing his mind as too much pressure for too many deals and problems has overwhelmed him.

      All the extras troubles added on by the Dems and media for Political Purposes has pushed him over the line. Putin has helped push the pressure on Trump.

      His actions now are “Out of Control”. Whatever bad things he was going to do are now magnified. November elections are too far away and everyone, including Republicans and Independents are going to vote out Republicans ASAP. Greenland, Canada,…attack any country he chooses, …Donald Trump is clearly out of control now.

      If Congress sits still and lets him get us into a real war in Iran, perhaps with Russia and China taking action, then the results will be catastrophic for the entire world.

      And it appears that Congress is doing nothing. You can’t expect Rand Paul to do everything.

      The USA and world is in trouble.

      These headlines are so over the top and never an accurate depiction of what is really going on. Do better, please. He probably raised his voice. But “angry panic” is shit writing.

      I like how the author failed to mention trump being in the pedo files even once here…
