Wonder if any of the mainstream media in the UK will report on this….who am I kidding of course they won’t, it doesn’t fit the pro Reform narrative.
Doesn’t say much really. How much of spending are using credit or BNPL relative to recent years. We could just be following the U.S’s footsteps in spending for the sake of spending. This alone isn’t a good indicator for the UK’s economy.
Also I find it hard to trust published economic data.
