Norwegen ist ein Gigant bei den Olympischen Winterspielen. Warum ist es im Eishockey nicht besser?

    1. Similar reason to figure skating. Talking to my colleague there it’s a lack of rinks. Figure skating has a social side of it as well. But for hockey it’s predominantly the lack of rinks according to him.

Where im from we played a little hockey from time to time on footballfields converted to ice skating parks during the winter but never anything organized. To get to a rink our parents would have to drive 1.5 hours one way to get us to a rink in a «big city». Quick google search now implies the entire region of «midt Norge» has a total of 4 hockey rinks. We didnt have to go far to find skiclubs and arenas or just trails made for skiing.
