Great. Trading one problem for another
You could just try drinking sparkling water
It would be nice for people to drink weed instead of smoking it. For those of us with asthma and sensory disorders.
I tried an infused seltzer and I was trying to figure out why I was so hungry.. but I felt calm.and didn’t want to drink when other were drinking so maybe.. I did wish it was a „lite“ version though
Much happier on weed than drinking alcohol
I just wish I wasn’t addicted to smoking it
After spending my 20s with a serious weed problem (saving burn bits from joints and scraping what’s left off the inside of vape carts) I now have a double whiskey on the weekends and maybe a shot during the week and that’s about it, for the reverse version
That being said I’ve considered trying to go back to moderate cannabis just because alcohol is a “poison” that can “kill you” apparently
(But then, that fear and respect for alcohol is part of why I haven’t been guzzling it like I used to go through a whole tube of resin in under a week)
Hasn’t a correlation between the rise in cannabis use and decrease in alcohol use already been established? If so, isn’t this self-evident?
My wife and I started doing this and we hardly drink at all now.
Also if you do drink alcohol and then switch to weed drinks later in the night, your body will thank you. The weed will help you sleep better and mitigate some of the effects of the hangover. Also it helps your body retain water
As an employee of a liquor store, THC-infused drinks have made up for declining beer and spirit sales, and then some. Beer drinkers have split somewhat evenly between NA beer and THC drinks, but THC has brought in new customers that NA never did.
They are too expensive
Canadian.
I drink Zero Sugar cannabis drinks weekly. I quit drinking alcohol about 5yrs ago (I have drink at Xmas and on my bday).
They gotta find a way to make THC absorb instantly in the stomach. A rapid onset like alcohol would make it a more viable substitute.
There being an hour or more delay to feel the effects makes a drug less viable as an alcohol substitute in my opinion.
The Alcohol Industry hates this one trick…
And this is why states like Iowa and their alcohol business is trying to stamp these out. Sad.
Not only that, but I’ve lost weight because the ones I like are zero calories.
I had one of those 5% THC/lions mane seltzers and it tasted absolutely AWFUL and I didn’t catch even the slightest buzz.
The idea of sipping a THC seltzer at a BBQ sounds way better than pouring another beer. Just hope it doesn’t make the wrong headlines. I can already see them now. Beer before grass, you’re on your ass. Haha
This is why state beverage controls push to ban them.
