This is going to get buried, but glyphosate present on foods is considered by the EPA to be safe. However, there are studies of occupational exposures (spraying the chemical without proper PPE) increasing cancer risk. The dose makes the poison.
Before the election, several people told me that they didn’t like Trump, but they were voting for him because of RFK Jr who was finally going to make us healthy and ban harmful stuff from food. I asked them to explain how they thought that the party who hates regulations and makes it a platform to remove them was going to let RFK Jr ban any substance from food or elsewhere. No answer of course except to „trust him“. I hope they’re reading that post.

Can someone please explain how the president can mandate the production of a toxic substance? He is literally trying to kill his own people now. I am genuinely baffled by America.
Glyphosate used in agriculture gets into every single food item that we put in our mouths, period. It’s in produce, grains, processed foods, animal feed, literally everything is poisoned. And make no mistake, other countries will buy less of our crap which will basically put the final nail in the coffins of US farmers that are barely hanging on as it is. This is stupidity and evil at a level that I’m not sure I could have imagined.
Having to pay over 5 BILLION in lawsuits kinda says the stuff is not good for anyone. But, money.
