This story has always made absolutely zero sense. There is no evidence that Jeffrey Epstein knows anything at all about finance whatsoever. If he did, it would be extremely easy to prove where his investments were placed, who they were invested for, etc.
These people would rather fork over a fortune to their fellow pedophiles than pay their fair share in taxes.
To me, this is almost, ALMOST, encouraging because this is probably the last line of defense, the final excuse they’ll make because they know theyre guilty and have absolutely no other reasoning. Theyre essentially saying, „i am trapped in a corner, and I will embarrass myself about how daft I am to simply avoid the attention and not admit guilt.“
