Den meisten Ländern fehlen Langzeitdaten zur religiösen Identität, aber Ergebnisse daraus Pew-Forschungszentrum bieten Einblicke in die Veränderungen im Laufe des Jahrzehnts von 2010 bis 2020. (Leider ist 2020 das jüngste Jahr, für das wir vergleichbare globale Daten haben.)
Auf globaler Ebene gab es kaum Veränderungen. Der Anteil der Menschen, die sich mit einer Religion identifizieren, sank nur um einen Prozentpunkt von 77 % auf 76 %.
Allerdings ging die Religionszugehörigkeit in vielen Ländern Europas, Amerikas und Ozeaniens deutlich zurück. Sie können diesen Rückgang für eine Auswahl von Ländern in der Grafik sehen.
In Australien sanken die Sätze von 75 % auf 58 %. In den Vereinigten Staaten und Chile ist der Anteil von etwa 85 % auf 70 % gesunken.
Also, während Religionszugehörigkeit ist in vielen Teilen der Welt stabilzeigen diese Daten, dass die Religion in anderen Ländern an Bedeutung verliert.
Beachten Sie, dass diese Daten auf der Selbstidentifikation mit einer beliebigen Religion basieren; Es sagt uns nichts über Änderungen in Praktiken oder Ritualen, wie etwa dem Gebet oder dem Besuch von Gottesdiensten.

still dont understand how anyone in the modern day can be religious, but i guess good that its in decline
Also just because someone identifies with a religion doesn’t mean they are actually religious. Many people just put a religion on forms or survey just because they grew up with it.
if you find the amount of christians that no longer identify as christian disturbing look at the enourmous amount that claim to be christian but preach nothing but hate
the christian church is one of the wealthiest entitys on our planet yet the church mainly takes from its members
the scandals around priest that are pedos are also his own issue
believe might be a positive in this world, but churches are without exception a net negative, mainly because their rules and guidelines are massivly outdated
I find 70% in the US to be probably too high. It definitely doesn’t feel anywhere close to that and I live in the southeast too.

Canada here. Major religions were complicit in the Residential School System which was a component of the genocide done to Indigenous peoples when Canada was colonized.
Really not a good look.
