39euro a month for 5 active searches or 109 a month for unlimited searches? What does the app do? As you described it takes the listing from other sites and list them in one ?
Sick I love it, that would be crazy if the AI agent can book appointment for me
As a fellow indie dev I strongly recommend some kind of free trial, very very few people will fork out 40 euro to try something new that isnt proven. Make a 1 week free trial. If a new user to a new tool is met with a paywall or a sign up sheet 99% will click away without even trying it
Do you pay for api access for those sites or you just scrape what’s public?
Do you open yourself to legal action?
39euros a month? Why would any sane person pay you rather than just use bazaraki for free
Absolutely insane price would never pay that
Keep it for free as you starting out. As soon you have a user base and reputation add premium features.
I’m afraid it will not succeed with the current monetization
Good luck!
Looks quite nice and tbh it’s decent value. If you stay 5 years in an apartment that costs 1500, that’s a 54k contract, and paying 50 euros to browse opportunities for such a contract will likely yield a success in finding a nice house at 0.1% the contract value in costs.
But that’s the rational side of me. The emotional side is simply never, ever, going to pay 50 bucks for a few months of access to a database containing an improved interface wrapper for free information from Bazaraki & co, even if it’s a completely advisable thing to do. And I think most people are like that.
In big markets like the US the say 5% of people who will pay for something like this, still gives a market population of 15 million customers. In Cyprus I don’t see this model being viable. Especially for the rental market, the purchase market has contract values that average 5-10x more, so paying for tooling to find a property to buy makes more sense than to rent. But most importantly I think the rental market constitutes of two types of buyers, those who use agents because they prefer convenience for money and DIY applications, and those who skip agents because they’re price-sensitive and skip paying for DIY apps.
Anyway nice work and wish you the best.
Three questions
1. You mention in the short bio that you’d share listings you found on Bazaraki with your wife and by the next day those kistings were gone. That’s still the case here i assume yes? If someone books a flat that’s on Bazaraki, does it disappear immediately from your platform?
2. How are bookings actually done? I can’t see that described on your website. I find a flat that interests me, am i then redirected to Bazaraki to book?
3. Will you include any other sources? I know that buysellcyprus.com is pretty big. Fox has many listings. There are dozens more websites. Are you planning to incorporate all sources from Cyprus in order to truly capture the whole market?
Kudos for building it and good luck. But I’m requesting mods to remove ads here. Especially ads for your own product (with scraped data from other websites).
A non-tested, non-tried, unknown site, by an unknown developer whose reddit account is less than a year-old, asking for 40€/mo to save you a few minutes from your search?
Ugh.
Nampou laleis re 40euro to mina re mas peripezeis vale Google ads stin istoselida sou re pelle kai ase ta pricing
That is highly regarded of you, if you think anyone would pay for your ai slop.
So you scrub other sites for their data and then sell it to your users for 40eu a month?
Wow.. just wow
We’ve built something similar to this we’ve got data from several years of property prices and so we’ve made it not for people who are looking to rent because they are the customer but for the landlords and investors.
I don’t think renters should ever be paying to be placed in the properties.
