    Completely indifferent.

Happy for the athletes accomplishments completely removed from medals. For some even just being there and competing is a great experience. Though the entire Olympic event is far too riddled with corruption for my taste just like FIFA and similar orgs.

  2. I don’t follow it and don’t care. I do think we should review public funding for this stuff, though. I think much less for the few pros, more for mass sports.

  3. I’m from China and Chinese people care deeply and stupidly about gold medals and overall medals.
Germany as a traditional Winter Olympics powerhouse, has seen a decline in recent performances.
I wonder how Germans view this. Is it related to patriotism and collective honor? Only for discussions. lol

  4. Most of the events, I’m not that interested in, but when I do watch, I care more about how exciting the competition is. If my favourite ends up winning and/or they’re a good representative for Germany, that’s just a nice bonus. But I’m happy for any deserving winner, regardless of nationality.

Plus, one of the events I do enjoy is luge, so either way, I can’t complain!

Couldn’t care less, international sports are one of the most corrupt things in the world

  6. Two more good chances at gold in the bobsleigh competition. Otherwise, yeah, could have been better, but eh.
