Ukrainian officials have acknowledged Leal da Silva’s death and say they are investigating. Prosecutors said police have opened a pre-trial investigation after his body was found on the territory of a military unit in Kyiv, while the military ombudsman said her office has ordered an inspection of Advanced.

Extremely bad look.
There is no defending such murderous abuse. Ukraine needed Bruno on post, not tortured to death by his own unit.
It may explain why the internationals are being folded into Ukrainian groups for closer supervision by Ukrainian commanders.
1) This is bad.
2) The fact that the Kyivindependent is publishing an article about this is good, and speaks well of the liberties and direction of the country as a whole.
