With no need or desire to read the article, because we’re not deaf and blind, did we not all correctly assume that Tyra Banks was a mean spirited person who belittled everyone around her under the pretense of “feedback” as a judge? By all accounts she’s just a shitty person who should not be given the time of day.

Plenty of other beautiful people with amazing talent and onscreen presence that aren’t trash humans that could do what she does and do it better.

These whole judging old shows through modern sensibilities thing is crazy to me. All competition reality shows of that period had a formula for the judging: a mean one, a nice one, and one in the middle that was supportive and gave constructive criticism. Sometimes, they switched it up so no one was the mean one all the time, but someone was always making nasty comments. Does no one remember early American Idol or Project Runway? Those contestants got *eviscerated* and no one is coming after the judges now.
