There’s only two people I like more than Nicolas Cage. One is Abraham Lincoln and the other is Illinois Governor JB Pritzker.

Dude has accomplished so much during his time at this point it is just comical and pathetic to watch the CHUDS try to argue why they think he sucks. They don’t even know why other than maybe a fat joke or two gets lobbed, usually from someone who’s got no room to talk about such things, lol.
Probably my preferred candidate of any of the plausible people (I don’t actually think AOC is going to toss her hat in the ring, I think she’s going for Schumer’s seat). Hope he starts to ramp up soon, there’s another governor getting disproportionally more attention.
I remember being skeptical during his run for Governor. „*Another* Billionaire“? I thought.
I cast my vote anyways for him because I’m not a self-destructive idiot that refuses to vote for someone if they aren’t 100% perfect (*cough* looking at all you 2016 and 2024 protest and non-voters!).
And… holy shit! I have never been so pleasantly surprised. I am more than happy to admit I was wrong in my assumptions about him. He delivered, then delivered, then overdelivered!
From steering us through Covid to getting a better handle on our budget than we’ve had in decades, to standing up to the creeping rise of Fascism.
I was wrong when I assumed he’d be a lackluster governor at best. He’s been awesome and I’d love to see him as President (though I REALLY REALLY don’t want to lose him as Governor!)
Pritzker would be my choice in 2028. Hope more people end up coming around to him instead of Newsom.
